50 Cent isn’t letting Jim Jones forget about the allegations he was an informant for authorities in the 6ix9ine Nine Trey Gangster Bloods trial.
In a post shared on Instagram, 50 Cent referred to Jones as “individual 1,” referring to a transcript of a wiretapped phone call from the 6ix9ine trial between Jim Jones and trial co-defendant Jamel ‘Mel Murda’ Jones. “LOL,” he wrote alongside a selfie of Jones. “INDIVIDUAL 1 calling the shots out here, I know you working so please don’t say gangster shit to me INDIVIDUAL 1!”
In the second slide of the post, he included a leaked transcript of the infamous wiretapped phone call between Mel Murda and “Individual 1,” who was later confirmed to be Jones.
“He gotta get violated,” Jones said in the wiretapped phone call, referring to potential violence against 6ix9ine. While it was never confirmed whether Jones was, in fact, an informant for authorities, 50 Cent previously referred to the Dipset rapper as “individual 1” when they were beefing in 2020.
Jones recently sat down for an interview on Justin Laboy’s #Respectfully show, and in his appearance he was asked about Fif and Cam’ron’s recent comments in an interview about the time he joined 50 Cent on stage in 2007. At the time, 50 Cent was beefing with Cam’ron, who is in the Diplomats with Jones.
“Them n****s be on my dick,” he said. “I did a lot for them n****s in their life. Both of them. Get off my dick! … [Cam’ron] couldn’t pull nothing together. He couldn’t do nothing with me. Let’s not get this shit twisted. Nobody could tell me nothing. I was my own boss. … I did what I wanted to do.”
He defended his decision to join 50 Cent on stage and said he wasn’t going to let allegiances or friendships get in the way of cashing in on a hot moment for him. “I got the hottest record, I’m popping out,” he said. “I wasn’t on nobody’s friendship. I was a pirate.” He also took a swipe at 50 Cent and the rest of G-Unit’s fashion sense. “Them n****s couldn’t even dress, but he had a platform for me to perform on in front of thousands of people in New York,” he added.
For his part, 50 Cent said that he invited Jones to perform with him during the beef just to see if he would accept. “That was one of those things where I just threw it out and see what would happen,” he told Cam. “And he bit.”
