Amazon drops price of ‘outstanding’ Ninja kitchen gadget that ‘does the hard work for you’

Amazon has dropped the price of an “amazing” gadget that shoppers have credited with saving them hours of time in the kitchen.

The Ninja Food Processor has seen its price reduced from £99.99 down to £73.88 in a limited time deal. The appliance promises to take all the hard work out of food preparation by chopping, slicing, grating, pureeing and mixing so you don’t have to, helping you to rustle up everything from salads or burgers to doughs or desserts in no time.

Also available for the same price on the Ninja website, this offer is almost the cheapest that the food processor has ever been, with the exception of Black Friday last year when it dropped down to £70. The brand explains that it uses ‘Auto-IQ’ automatic technology to enable you to process food at the touch of a button with no complicated controls to work out.

Coming with a recipe book for inspiration and interchangeable attachments for all manner of preparations, including a chopping blade, dough tool and slicing disc, the parts are also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. And with nearly 4,000 reviews on Amazon, the food processor has earned an impressive average rating of 4.7 out of five stars from shoppers.

One person praised: “Perfect little powerhouse of a food processor. This little Ninja did an absolutely superb job in a matter of seconds which saved me hours of chopping with a butcher’s knife. I managed to chop 10kg of dense, greasy beef fat into a fine grain in less than a minute.”

Another customer who gave it five stars agreed: “Outstanding piece of kit. Easy to set up and use. I started off by making pizza dough which my old, more powerful processor couldn’t handle. The Ninja blasted through with no problems at all. The Auto-IQ function is very handy and stops the machine when it thinks it’s done. The rubber feet hold it in place so you can just set it running and do something else – although it made dough in about 30 seconds!”

A third reviewer said: “What a gem! Absolutely brilliant. I was impressed with the instruction leaflet and certainly the recipe booklet which gives a guide. I made shortcrust pastry – made in seconds and perfect. Pleasure to use and easy to clean. Would thoroughly recommend.”

And someone else wrote: “Wow, this is a neat piece of kit for the kitchen. Made a cheesecake in no time. Easy to use and easy to clean. Nothing to dislike about it. Looks like cakes will start appearing more frequently in this household!”

Overall, 84% of Amazon shoppers awarded the Ninja Food Processor the full five-star rating, while just 3% gave it fewer than three stars. However, a small number of customers said they were let down by some of its features, with one feeding back: ” I was disappointed with the whizzing feature. My old machine would crush porridge oats to dust – this one left large pieces.”

And someone else commented: “Using the grater, there are still some clumpy veg bits that seem to get through. Also, the silicone seal around the lid part needs to come off for cleaning and it’s not the easiest to get back on!”

While the Ninja is the number one top-rated food processor on Amazon, another bestselling choice is the Kitchen in the Box Food Processor, which has a lower average rating of 4.4 out of five stars is currently reduced to less than half price at a budget-friendly £29.99. Meanwhile, there are a host of other offers from Ninja running right now, including the Ninja Blast Cordless Portable Blender which has dropped down to £39.99 and comes in six colours.
