Amazon has slashed the price tag of a “salon-quality” hair straightener that shoppers have branded the “best ever” – saying it beats far more expensive brands.
The online retail giant has dropped prices on selected skincare, make-up, haircare and styling gadgets in its Premium Beauty Week sale, which runs until April 22. A number of favourite brands can be snapped for less in the sale, with one popular deal being on the bestselling ghd Gold Styler which is now available for £142.99 down from £189 – but shoppers on a budget can pick up a straightener from another popular brand, which has earned the same rating of 4.6 out of five stars on Amazon based on hundreds of reviews, yet comes in at a fraction of the price.
The Remington Advanced Coconut Therapy Hair Straightener has a whopping 65% off on Amazon in a limited-time deal, bringing its price down from £129.99 down to just £44.99. This straightener is designed to protect your locks from heat damage as you style, with its plates infused with coconut and UV filters for “smooth and shiny results”.
The Remington straightener also boasts a 15-second heat up time, as well as an integrated sensor to prevent overheating, an automatic safety shut-off feature, and digital temperature controls up to 230°C with memory and boost functions, and comes with a handy zip-up storage pouch too. Dare I even say that they work on my coarse thick hair even better than ghds. Honestly, you will not regret buying them. My hair is so gorgeous after using them.”
