Amazon has officially launched its Black Friday Week, launching deals and discounts galore across more than 200,000 products from tech to fashion and beauty.
Among the deals are significant price drops from shoe brand Rocket Dog, with several pairs of winter boots available for less – ideal for braving the recent snow and ice in. This includes the Rocket Dog Women’s Slope Long Boots, which are the number one bestselling boots on Amazon and can now be snapped up for as much as 85% off their full price tag of £110.
The brand promises that the boots will deliver “unbeatable all-day comfort and warmth”, lined with faux sheepskin and finished off with toggle and fur trim detailing to stay cosy in style. Alongside a classic black option, there are also ‘chocolate’ and ‘chestnut’ brown shades to choose from, all of which have seen reductions in the Black Friday sale.
And with an average rating of 4.4 out of five stars, the boots have also earned rave reviews from thousands of Amazon shoppers. One person praised in a five-star review: “Absolutely gorgeous boots. They fitted beautifully, plenty of room at the front for your toes and lightweight. Very soft, cute detail and great quality.”
Another agreed: “Got these at an excellent price and have been thrilled with them. Roomy and comfortable so can get plenty of thick socks on. Easy to tuck jeans in. Fully fleecy lined so warmth all over feet and legs. They look cute but can’t beat the comfort and quality.”
A third shopper wrote: “I absolutely love these quality boots and buy a new pair every year , I wear them every day in the winter until April and they are rainproof, warm and very comfortable. Have walked miles along the coast and beaches with these boots as well as everywhere else.”
And someone else said: “Best boots I’ve ever had. Lovely length, cosy, furry warm lining, and nice easy zip to get on. Plenty of room for toes and great looking too. Highly recommend.”
Overall, 83% of Amazon shoppers have awarded the boots either four or the full five stars, although a small number of reviewers complained that they “wear down quickly” and a few others thought they were “uncomfortable”.
It’s also worth noting that the size of the reduction you can snag in the Black Friday sale depends on which size you need – for example, the boots in black have been reduced to £27.29 in a size four, but will set you back £42.99 in a size five, which may prove frustrating if you need one of the pricier sizes.
There are several more Rocket Dog styles available for less in the Amazon sale, including the Women’s Black Suede Ankle Boots which are now available for between £16.89 and £29.99 reduced from £85, and the Women’s Sugardaddy Boots, now also with up to 80% off their full £85 price tag. Or for a faux leather look, there are also the Women’s Trumble Biker Boots, available in four colours and reduced from £100 down to as little as under £20, or the Women’s Thunder Ankle Boots, down to between £14.99 and £44 depending on size.
Amazon isn’t the only retailer to have slashed prices on women’s fashion for Black Friday, with shops across the high street also offering reductions on winter boots. Debenhams has reduced thousands of pairs, with the bestselling choices currently being the Emu Mini Classic Boots and the Finch Ultra Mini Classic Boots by EverAu Australia – both of which have 72% off, meaning shoppers can snap them up for £43.99 reduced from £159 with several colours to choose from.
And John Lewis has also joined in with its own line-up of Black Friday deals, including 20% off selected pairs of wellies from favourite brand Barbour. The bestselling pair are the Kingham Wellington Boots, now £48 down from £60, followed by the eye-catching Mallow Chelsea Wellington Boots, now £42.96 reduced from £54.95.
