Amazon has dropped prices on dozens of designer perfumes as its launched its Black Friday Week sale, with better than half price deals on offer for Christmas shoppers.
The online retail giant is currently offering up to 72% off fragrances from big names including Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Elizabeth Arden and DKNY, with scents for both women and men available for less. One of the favourites that has earned more than 13,000 five-star reviews from shoppers is Boss Femme Eau de Parfum, which can now be snapped up on Amazon for £25.59 reduced from £64 with 60% off a 50ml bottle – beating The Perfume Shop as well as Boots and Superdrug on price.
Made with top notes of tangerine, blackcurrant and freesia complemented by heart notes of lily, rose and jasmine and finished off with musky base notes of amber, apricot and lemon tree, this floral and fruity fragrance has earned an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars from Amazon shoppers, with many praising the scent as “gorgeous” – although opinions were divided on its longevity, with some saying it “lasts all day” while others complained that it “faded quickly”.
Another bestselling fragrance to have seen its price slashed is Calvin Klein Euphoria For Women Eau de Parfum, now with 63% off bringing its price down from £90 to £33.05. Described as a “rich and radiant” fragrance, this floral perfume has top notes of pomegranate accompanied by heart notes of black orchid and lotus blossom, completed with musky base notes of cream accord, mahogany wood and amber.
With nearly 14,000 reviews from Amazon shoppers, Euphoria has earned an impressive average rating of 4.7 out of five stars, with many describing it as their “favourite” perfume. The scent was praised as “beautiful”, with reviewers appreciating its longevity as well as the luxurious design of the bottle making it perfect to present as a Christmas gift, although a few people said they found the scent “overpowering”.
Other Calvin Klein scents to have dropped in price include Calvin Klein Eternity, now £34.19 with 61% off, and Calvin Klein CK One, now £19.99 with 64% off. And several bestselling men’s fragrances have been reduced to less than half price in the Amazon Black Friday deals too, including Joop Homme, now £22.79 down from £65, Hugo Man, now £37.51 down from £79, and Davidoff Cool Water, now £25.59 down from £64.

Meanwhile, the priciest perfumes to have seen their prices slashed are two favourite Marc Jacobs scents, Marc Jacobs Dot and Marc Jacobs Honey, both of which have been reduced from £99 down to £48. The DKNY Be Delicious collection is another fragrance favourite among shoppers with its iconic apple-shaped bottles, and Superdrug is offering the exclusive DKNY Be Delicious Pool Party Mai Tai scent for £27 reduced from £62 with 56% of – read more of the retailer’s top perfume deals here.
Boots has also launched its own Black Friday offers, with a host of popular perfume deals included – Jimmy Choo Blossom Eau de Parfum is a particular favourite after dropping from £58 down to £29, having been described as “heaven in a bottle” by shoppers. And And The Perfume Shop is running an early Black Friday sale too, with the bestselling choice in women’s fragrance being Armani Diamonds Rose Eau de Toilette, now £34.99 reduced from £47.
