A second commented: “Is it worth it? Of course, it is. It is really good for beginners, and it was my first straightener. It was really easy to use, but don’t forget to get a hair protectant as well. I feel like there can be many more similar straighteners which are less expensive (affordable). Overall, I love it! it’s really easy to curl with it. You have to practice a lot that’s all.”
A third likes it but didn’t like how it leaves her hair smelling: “Heat up fast, great heat options. It makes my hair smooth and curls hold until the next wash. The only downside is my hair smells a little burnt after curling. I’ve purchased a heat protector now and use a lower heat setting, which will hopefully help. I like that the outside heats up, I only caught myself once at the very beginning, but no problems now. Overall, a top-notch product at a great price!”

The only slight annoyance is that the finger guards for the end of the straighteners come off easily. Some reviews complain about the warning sticker being hard to remove.

“It is a normal sticker. You remove it before turning the straighteners on—as the instructions say. Of course, it would be difficult if you melted it on! Anyway, it is a great product, and there are no real issues; just read the instructions.”
