Beyoncé is celebrating her big Grammy win with some long-awaited Cowboy Carter Tour dates.
Following Sunday night’s ceremony, the pop star took to Instagram to announce that she will be returning to the stage to perform her latest album of the same name. The 22-city Cowboy Carter Tour kicks off in April and will make stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Atlanta before heading to Europe for shows in London and Paris.
Cowboy Carter was nominated for 11 Grammys and ended up taking home three: Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. It’s the first time the Queen B has won Album of the Year. She’s now the most-nominated and most-awarded artist in Grammy history, notching a total of 99 nominations and 35 wins.
“It’s very surreal,” Beyoncé told Entertainment Tonight after winning AOTY. “It’s been 25 years of just working really hard and trying my best to keep growing and keep opening up doors. So I’m just very honored, very honored. I’m happy that my daughter got to see that. … I’m so happy that she was here. And Rumi, who was on the album, my youngest daughter, she was watching. I forgot to thank her so I get to thank her now.”
