Boots is back with its £10 Tuesday offer today (April 30), with price drops on dozens of skincare and makeup favourites up for grabs on the beauty retailer’s website for just 24 hours.
With big brands including No7, NYX, Soap & Glory and Aveeno all featuring in this week’s raft of deals, it’s the perfect time to stock up your bathroom cabinet or makeup bag for less. One of the top-rated highlights is the Nivea Luminous 630 Anti Stretch Marks Body Oil-Serum, which is designed to “visibly reduce stretch marks” within just two weeks.
The serum usually has a price tag of £14.99 at Boots, so shoppers can save a third of the price in the £10 Tuesday deal – although it’s currently even cheaper at Superdrug on a half price offer for just £7.49, and it’s even less on Ocado for £7. The oil, which works by softening the contrast between stretch marks and the surrounding skin for a more even tone from day one according to Nivea, has earned hundreds of rave reviews from customers.
One shopper praised: “Been using this for a few weeks now and I kid you not, my stretch marks seems to have lightened dramatically – I’m over the moon with this cream. My stretch marks were really an insecurity for me, and now I feel amazing.”
Another agreed: “Love this oil from Nivea, I’ve been using it a few weeks now and can definitely see how it works on stretch marks. I’m currently pregnant and I genuinely believe this has stopped my pregnancy stripes from being so red, and it has also kept my skin really hydrated and stopped itching.”
A third reviewer shared: “After having a C-section last year the scar on my belly was quite obvious, I have tried all sorts of products to help reduce the appearance of it and nothing seemed to work until I found this wonderful stuff! I have been using it now for five weeks and the difference in the appearance is amazing! I am no longer self-conscious about it! Highly recommend!”
And someone else wrote: “After two weeks, the redness on my stretch marks was noticeably reduced already. After four weeks I can honestly say the appearance of my stretch marks has reduced so much. They are still there of course, but a lot finer and not red at all anymore. I’m honestly amazed at how fast it’s worked to reduce the size and appearance overall.”
While the serum comes recommended by 93% of Boots reviewers overall, a few shoppers commented that while it left their skin feeling “hydrated and smooth”, they found that they “couldn’t see much of a difference” to the appearance of their stretch marks.
Other Nivea favourites in the Boots £10 Tuesday sale include the Cellular Luminous 630 Anti Dark Spot Night Cream, which has seen its price reduced from £26.99 and has an overall rating of 4.3 out of five stars from shoppers, designed to “visibly reduce dark spots” while you sleep. The matching Cellular Luminous 630 Anti-Dark Circle Eye Cream has also dropped down to £10 – but customers were less impressed with this cream, giving it an average rating of 3.9 out of five stars.
Elsewhere in the flash sale, there are deals up for grabs on the No7 Radiance+ collection, with the Vitamin C Daily Brightening Moisturiser, the Daily Energising Exfoliating Cleanser, and the 15% Vitamin C Serum all now £10 each. Or if you’re stocking up for your summer holidays, there’s also the Joules Travel Set, which contains body wash, body butter, body scrub, lip balm, and an eye mask in a travel bag, and is usually £16.
