Boots shoppers are raving about a ‘fresh floral’ fragrance that’s almost 50% off on the shopping giant’s website. Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever would normally be £88 for a 50ml bottle but has dropped down to almost half price at £46.
Daisy Dream Forever has been around for a while, with it being launched in 2015. It was created by Alberto Morillas and Ann Gottlieb who perfume buffs will recognise for their work on Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine, Calvin Klein CK One and Marc Jacobs Honey.
Daisy Dream Forever opens up fruity with blackberry, pear and grapefruit before settling into a heart of wisteria, lychee and jasmine with a simple base of white woods. This would likely be popular with fans of Kayali’s Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar 42 that are looking for something a little less sweet.

It’s brought in an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 559 reviews. One shopper said: “This is a captivating sweet fresh clean sexy scent that lasts all day. This is a beautiful bottle that I can wear during the spring and summer time.”
A second said: “My favourite fresh floral scent. It smells like clean laundry it’s so light and beautiful but stays all day surprisingly. The packaging is also really cute so bonus points for that. It’s a bit expensive but I’ve had it over a year and swear I use it every day and don’t need more than 2 spritzes to last all day.”
A third wrote: “This is such a beautiful powdery scent that smells floral, clean, and sweet. It will actually stick to your skin and dry down to a powdery floral from the natural heat of your body. It doesn’t project much on clothes alone, but is more of a scent that you can smell strongly on your skin. Spritz some on your pulse points and this will last through the entire day and night. It is even more beautiful when combined with other scents. I love this + Armani ADG together. The bottle is gorgeous too.”
A fourth added: “Daisy Dream is one of my favourite scents. It’s very feminine and delicate. I love a floral scent. This is long lasting but this isn’t too overpowering. It’s ideal for everyday wear.”
Not everyone is so impressed with the longevity though, one shopper said: “I love the scent it’s floral and clean but I feel like it only lasts about 3 hours even if I put a lot. The bottle it’s so pretty, but wouldn’t repurchase.”
Our team’s fragrance expert, Jada Jones, has a tip to make perfume go further: “I so often see people complain about perfume not lasting when they’ve not applied it in a way that will make it last. Firstly you want to be applying perfume to clean and freshly moisturised skin. After that my tip would be to apply to your pulse points with at least one spray in each area – do not follow this up with crushing your wrists together.”
