The biggest night in music is now less than two months away and the nominees for this year’s Brit Awards have now been announced.
For decades now, the Brits have been recognising the great and good of British music, as well as honouring big names from overseas, with a variety of International categories. The identity of the 2025 Rising Star award winner has already been unveiled as Stargazing singer Myles Smith, who joined presenter Sian Welby on the Instagram live broadcast where the contenders for each award were confirmed in full.
The big winner at last year’s event was Raye, who took home an amazing six trophies out of a possible seven, with the likes of Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris and The Last Dinner Party among the other winners on the night at London’s O2 Arena. The ceremony will be back at the famous venue on Saturday, March 1, with the red carpet being rolled out again to welcome a host of globally famous stars.
Just like the last few years, fans will have the chance to vote for five categories: Pop, Dance, Rock/Alternative, R&B and Hip Hop/grime/Rap Acts, ahead of the show being shown live on ITV on the night.
