As predicted, Charli XCX was the big winner of the night at the Brit Awards 2025 on Saturday night, taking home four awards to add to the Songwriter of the Year accolade she’d already won.
Given that it felt like the whole world had a Brat summer last year, thanks to Charli’s album of the same name and its killer tracks like Von Dutch and 365, she was hotly tipped to clean up at the O2 Arena this weekend and bookies got it spot on, as after taking home Song of the Year early on, she then got Dance Act, Artist of the Year and finally the big one – Album of the Year for Brat.
While Charli XCX was undeniably the toast of the Brits 2025, there was also another multiple winner at the ceremony, hosted by Jack Whitehall, with US star Chappell Roan winning both International Song of the Year for Good Luck Babe and then International Artist, although she wasn’t there to pick up any of them.
Other big wins on the night came for Jade, with the Little Mix star taking home her first solo Brit for Best Pop Act and Last Dinner Party, who built on last year’s win for Rising Star with Best New Artist. The hotly contested Group trophy went to jazz act Ezra Collective, who rounded off the show with a performance alongside fellow Brit winner Jorja Smith.
