Sports brand Castore has opened up its first store in the North East.
The store opened up at Dalton Park in County Durham this month, alongside two other new stores, White Stuff and Weird Fish. Weird Fish opened in February, with White Stuff and Castore opening on Thursday, March 6.
To celebrate the opening, customers have been treated to complimentary fizz. Dalton Park says Castore adds to the outlet’s sporting options. Richard Kaye, centre director at Dalton Park Outlet said: “We’re delighted to welcome these three fantastic new brands to Dalton Park. With spring just around the corner, this expansion gives our shoppers even more choice when it comes to high-quality fashion at great value. Whether it’s relaxed weekend wear, everyday essentials, or performance-driven sportswear, there’s something for everyone.”

Danny Grimshaw, head of retail at Castore said: “We’re excited to bring Castore to the North East and we’re confident our mainline, golf and motorsport collections will be well received by Dalton Park Outlet’s visitors.”
Clare Davis, area Manager at White Stuff said: “Dalton Park is the perfect location to introduce our unique designs to even more customers in the North East.”
In February, the UK’s largest independent travel agent Hays Travel opened its newest branch. Owner and chair of Hays Travel, Dame Irene Hays, was at Dalton Park on Friday to officially open the newest branch.
