Matt Baker has admitted he’s been facing ‘complications’ on his Durham fan, as he and his family tackle lambing season and fans pleased with him to make another series of Our Farm in the Dales.
It was back in 2021 that Countryfile star Matt and his family first let TV cameras in on their life on the farm, with Our Farm in the Dales following the trials and tribulations of trying to keep the business afloat, after Matt’s mum Janice was forced out of action, having broken her leg in an accident at work. The first series saw Matt, wife Nicola and the couple’s children move back to their native County Durham to help Janice and husband Mick.
The show became so popular after its launch on More4 that it ended up being switched to a primetime spot on Channel 4 on a Saturday night, which is exactly where Matt’s latest show Our Dream Farm finds itself. The new series sees him lead the search for for the new tenants of The National Trust’s vacant Wallington Estate farm, with many viewers totally hooked and the programme performing well in the ratings in a competitive time slot.
