Drake Praises GOAT ‘Beat Switch’ on Gracie Abrams’ “I Knew It, I Know You” Song

Drake might be the last person you think of when it comes to a Gracie Abrams fan, but the rapper loves a track for her sophomore album.

On Tuesday (March 12), while streaming Abrams’ song “I Knew It, I Know You,” from her sophomore album The Secret of Us, the 6 God snapped a screenshot of the lyrics and shared it to his Instagram Story.

“You had the wrong idea about me,” the highlighted lyrics read.

But rather than dissecting the lyrics, Drake dedicated his IG Story to the song’s production, courtesy of Abrams and Aaron Dessner.

“🐐 beat switch on this,” Drake captioned the Story. “Second half is 🥺🤯🩵.”

Drizzy, who recently dropp ed an album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, has shown love to other current pop singers, like Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX and Tate McRae. The latter two were shouted out on $ome $exy $ongs 4 U cut “Small Town Fame.”

“Bitch, I feel like Tate McRae/ Puttin’ Charli up her nose, X on her tongue, she been geekin’ hard/ She done had a Brat summer,” he rapped on the song.

The rapper was also spotted renting out an entire nightclub to play Carpenter’s music exclusively.

Fans of Drake and Abrams picked up on the Story, posting their shock on TikTok.
