With thousands of these products sold owing to its remarkable economic benefits—Dunelm advertises that the heated airer costs just a nickel per hour to run—the retailer issued a statement regarding the recall: “We have identified a safety issue with the Heated Airer with Wings.”
“The airer could overheat causing burning which could be a fire risk. The safety of our customers is very important to us and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Bakery chain Greggs were also forced to issue a product recall this week due to a packaging error.
