Dunelm shoppers have been rushing to get their hands on bedding that has just landed in stores and online and is just the thing for a spring home refresh.
The Margo Floral Cotton Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set is new in as part of the homeware giant’s new spring collection, and has already caught the eye of shoppers. Perfect for brightening up your home for the new month, the set has serious cottage-core vibes with its dainty floral design, while its 100% cotton 144 thread count ensures a soft and cosy night’s sleep too.
Priced between £20 for a single and £34 for a super king size, the bedding turned heads when Dunelm showed it off on Instagram this week, paired with sage green sheets and frilly pink cushions for a stylish look. Shoppers praised it as “beautiful”, taking to the comments section to ask if it was available to order yet.
“There’s something about bedding that changes an entire room. Love this floral set!” one person raved. And others were quick to agree, with other comments reading: “Love this print!” and: “This is such a lovely set!”
Shoppers who want to achieve the look seen on Dunelm’s Instagram page can snap up a Pure Cotton Fitted Sheet in sage green from between £9 and £16 depending on which size is needed, with 40 other colours to choose from too, while matching Pure Cotton Pillowcases are available in the same shade at £7 for a pair.
Meanwhile, the Oversized Frill Square Cushion seen in the Instagram set-up is available on the Dunelm website for £18, and a Brushed Boucle Throw is also new in for spring to complete the look and comes in sage green for between £15 and £35 depending on which size you need. However, this has earned mixed reviews from shoppers so far, with a few complaining that it “sheds everywhere”.
For a less shed-prone option that’s cheaper to boot, another choice to match your new sheets is the Leila Leaf Fleece Throw, which has a price tag of £10 and comes in sage green as well as rose pink, sandstone beige and thistle purple. Finally, the textured pink pillowcases seen in the Instagram clip are the Aria Seersucker Oxford Pillowcases for £8 each.
Elsewhere on the high street, Argos shoppers have been snapping up the Habitat Cotton Scallop Reversible Bedding Set, which is proving to be a favourite as households look to inject some colour into their homes while they wait for spring to arrive. Available in a yellow scallop print with black stripes on the reverse side or a blue scallop print with pink stripes on the reverse, the statement bedding has been praised as “striking” and “vibrant” by shoppers.
Priced at £26 for a double, £30 for a king and £34 for a super king size, the bedding is made from 100% cotton with a 180-thread count to ensure a cosy night’s sleep. And it has earned an average rating of 4.7 out of five stars based on glowing reviews from Argos customers so far, who praised its “super soft” feel as well as its “stylish” look and “superb” quality – read more about it here.
And over at Marks & Spencer, another spring bedding set has impressed shoppers with its “luxurious” design s well as its “game changer” easy-care features. The Pure Cotton Sateen Trailing Cherry Blossom Bedding Set is available in a range of colours and offers a luxury hotel-style look and feel, made from 220 thread count fabric that promises to be silky soft to sleep under.
Priced from £39.50 for a single set to £69 for a super king size, the bedding is finished off with piped edges, a zipper fastening and a plain reverse side colour-coordinated to match the blossoms – the red is a particularly eye-catching option for those who love bold shades, while the grey and pink are more subtle choices that will match with any bedroom décor. It has impressed M&S shoppers too, earning an average rating of 4.8 out of five stars based on more than 350 reviews – read more about it here.
