First look at Michelle Keegan’s retro hit BBC show return

The BBC has given us a sneak peek at the brand-new series of Ten Pound Poms, which follows a group of Brits leaving post-war Britain for an adventure on the other side of the world. The hit series, brought to you by the same team behind Sex Education and the upcoming BBC production of Lord of the Flies, is set to return to BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2025 in a co-production with Stan, which airs the series in Australia.

The new series is created and written by BAFTA award-winning Danny Brocklehurst who brought fans Fool Me Once, Ordinary Lies and Brassic, so naturally here’s great excitement. The newly released snaps reveal series leads Michelle Keegan, Faye Marsay and Warren Brown returning as Kate, Annie and Terry. The photos also introduce new characters joining the series including the Skinner family, who arrive in Australia from Ireland ready to soak up their new lives in the sun, plus dodgy landlord Benny Bates, who makes Terry an offer he can’t refuse as he tries to establish roots for his family.
