A burger restaurant in Gateshead that has amassed loads of interest on social media platforms like TikTok and been named the ‘best in the North East’ this year, had confirmed that its branching out to open up inside a very popular venue in the heart of Newcastle.
Located in Team Valley, which itself has become a real ‘hidden gem’ for foodies, 40 Ounce is a place that anyone who loves a burger simply MUST visit. Inspired by the American hip hop scene, the independent business has seen its burgers and graffiti plastered packaging posted all over socials, particularly TikTok, as customers, including plenty of much followed influencers flock from miles around to get a taste of the action and give it rave reviews.
And now, as its profile gets bigger and bigger, thanks to it being crowned Best Restaurant in the North East by voters in this year’s UberEats Awards, 40oz has confirmed they will add a new string to their bow, by opening at Golf Fang, just outside Newcastle city centre in Hoults Yard. Revealing all about their new venture on Instagram, 40 Ounce posted: “SICKER THAN YO’ AVERAGE! 40 OUNCE IS OWA THE TOON! Thanks to @golffanguk for this opportunity! We’re going be trading 7 days a week 12 till 10 out of Golf Fang Hoults Yard! Pop in have a game of golf and grab a 40 Ounce or just simply ‘swing’ by and come in for food!”
Spilling the beans on another big move for the brand, the post added: “We are also launching on @ubereats_uk this weekend so we’ll be covering a lot of Newcastle! Keep your eyes peeled for a big special promotion this weekend exclusive on Uber!”
The reaction to the post has been huge, with one regular customer replying: “Congratulations guys” and another commenting: “Amazing! Congrats”
