ITV Love Island star quits show less than 24 hours after Scott Thomas’ shock exit

Love Island has bid farewell to its second star in just a few days as another islander has decided to leave the villa. Ron Hall, who entered the villa as a bombshell earlier in the series, has reportedly quit after failing to find a connection with any of the girls on the show.

This comes less than 24 hours after Scott Thomas’ surprising exit. A source revealed to the Mirror: “Ron has left the villa. He feels he no longer wants to wait to see if he’ll find a connection with a new bombshell.”

Scott Thomas, another Love Island star, chose to leave the show in the previous episode, telling his fellow co-stars that his time was up in the villa. During a chat with Tina Stinnes, he confessed: “Something is holding me back from going to the next level…I want to give you that, but I can’t if I don’t fully feel it. You fully deserve that.”

After Elma Pazar was overheard saying that Scott had “two blinding birds” but found something “missing for both of them”, Scott had a disagreement with her before gathering the cast around the firepit to announce his decision to leave. He stated: “I don’t want this to be sad because I’ve had the best time ever, but I’ve made the decision to leave and I think it’s the right time. I don’t want everyone to be sad, I’m in a good place about it.”

Ron has now become the latest celeb to bid farewell to the show after his quest for love proved unsuccessful. The former financial advisor, who previously appeared on Love Island’s ninth series and left with ex-girlfriend Lana Jenkins, initially paired up with Kaz Crossley after making a bombshell entrance.

However, Kaz was soon swept off her feet by new bombshell Montel McKenzie, leading to their eventual exit from the villa. Ron later paired up with Harriett Blackmore after she chose him in a recoupling, but he confessed that he wasn’t attracted to the 24 year old.

Last week saw bombshell Omar Nyame enter the villa, with the incoming star setting his sights on both Catherine Agbaje and old flame Grace Jackson. During last summer’s series, Omar clashed with Joey Essex after showing an interest in Grace, with Joey branding Omar as “snakey”.

Speaking about his plans to reconnect with Grace on All Stars, Omar said: “I’ll see how she’s going and see if there’s anything there. That’s all I can do, explore things and see what happens.”

Love Island continues at 9pm tonight on ITV2 and ITVX.
