The Love Island villa was alight with drama on the latest episode of Love Island: All Stars, and now AJ Pritchard, brother to Curtis Pritchard and ex-Strictly Come Dancing star, is sparking debate by suggesting Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu should be removed from the show. AJ didn’t mince words as he dished out his take on the explosive argument between Ekin-Su, 30, and Curtis, 28, where she hurled her drink at him in a moment of fury, accusing him of lies and putting a full stop to their romance.
During an Instagram Stories Q&A session with his girlfriend Zara Zoffany, AJ spoke candidly when prompted about the incident. “If it was a guy doing that to a girl, they’d probably be removed from the show. It wasn’t on his face, it was on his legs” he declared, pointing out a double standard.

His influencer girlfriend Zara chimed in, downplaying the event: “No, no, she missed, so that was really lucky for her.” AJ, not quite finished, added, “But certain actions, like that, are childish. Whatever heated debate or argument you’re having, it’s bad.” Zara, however, seemed to sway towards another viewpoint, noting, “We might agree to disagree. I think if it had hit him, it would’ve been bad, but because it was on his legs on the floor and shoes..”, reports the Mirror.
Ekin-Su’s journey on the show has been tumultuous, starting from her arrival as a bombshell. Things got complicated when Curtis displayed an interest in fellow bombshell, Danielle Sellers. Although the couple managed to patch things up after a heated argument, Curtis reiterating that the Turkish beauty was his top priority, the situation took a turn for the worse when Danielle chose Curtis in the recoupling. This led to an intense confrontation between Ekin-Su and Curtis.
He confessed that he had sent mixed signals to the Celebrity Big Brother star, admitting he hadn’t been entirely honest about his intentions to get to know Danielle better. The argument reached a boiling point, prompting Ekin-Su to call it quits and storm off in anger.

Prior to this, Curtis had told Ekin-Su: “I feel like I’ve not been a thousand percent honest with you…I do really like you. I didn’t expect someone to come in and confuse the situation slightly… In hindsight it makes me think I should have never ever said we were closed off, so that’s the first apology that i want to say to you. I felt like I said that too early and I didn’t realise that until this situation. I’m sorry for lying to you about saying that.”
Ekin-Su’s response was scathing. “Too f****** late Curtis. The one thing I’ve been is loyal since day one, since I walked in here. My head hasn’t swayed, I knew exactly what I wanted. I was vulnerable with you. I gave everything to you. I let my guard down, I made myself look like an idiot, cried.”
She screamed: “I don’t want nothing to do with you anymore. I don’t want nothing to do with you, I wish you all the best with Danielle. Everything we had, all the memories, I’m gonna try and delete out of my head. I feel like I’ve been played. I feel like I’ve been mugged off completely. I feel like everything you said was just a lie.”
The intensity ramped up when she flung her drink at Curtis, leaving her ex and their fellow Islanders in shock. Viewers couldn’t peel their eyes away from the screens as they flocked to X to air their thoughts about the fiery exchange, with some branding Ekin-Su’s outburst as ‘fake’ and pointing out her lack of tears.
