Jack Grealish parties at ‘packed out’ Newcastle pub after Washington social club drinks

Jack Grealish made a real night out if it on Sunday as, just hours after he stunned locals at a social club in Washington by calling in for a few drinks, the £100 million Manchester City star was seen leaving a popular pub up the road in Newcastle.

Having struggled to hold down a place in City’s first tam this season, England international Jack was given the nod from manager Pep Guardiola as the reigning Premier League champions took on Championship strugglers Plymouth Arygle in the FA Cup fifth round. There was a shock for the 2024 finalists, when Arygle, fresh from knocking out Liverpool in the fourth road, went ahead at the Etihad.

Man City levelled things up right on the cusp of half time, with youngster Nico O’Reilly making it 1-1, before he added a second and Kevin De Bryne sealed City’s place in the quarter final draw to make the final score 3-1. And Jack was clearly in celebratory mood 24 hours later as, after being spotted at a pub in Garton on the outskirts of Manchester and happily posing for photos with fans, he then made a surprising trip up the road to the North East to join locals who were enjoying a few drinks at North Biddick Club.

it didn’t take long for photos of Jack at a table in the club to surface on social media, with both those inside the bar and those who saw the photos doing the round on Facebook and X, struggling to belief it was actually him as the midfielder, dressed casually in baggy ripped jeans and a grey hoodie, looked completely at ease in his unexpected surroundings.

And the evening didn’t end there for Jack as, in footage that was shared on X on Monday night, he was seen wearing the same low key outfit as he stepped out of the regularly packed out Irish pub The Dubliner on Newcastle Quayside and headed towards a blacked out Mercedes people carrier.

The bar, which opened in town in 2023 and has since expanded to York, has proved massively popular ever since its launch; building a reputation as one of the best places in the city for live music, with acts on seven days a week, as well as having a buzzing atmosphere and a few celebrity revellers, including two members of Brit winning Irish group Fontaines DC, who headed there for a few pints of Guinness after their gig at the nearby Boiler Shop last year.
