Newcastle United star Lewis Hall admits he is keen to show Toon supporters exactly what he is capable of in the next few years.
The left-back’s move from Chelsea will be confirmed soon, but he is believed to have triggered a permanent £28million transfer. Hall admits that his early months on Tyneside have been a learning curve after working closely with Eddie Howe and the backroom team, but he feels he will be ready to hit the ground running next season.

Although, Hall hopes to have a part to play in the final half dozen matches of the current campaign after waiting patiently for his opportunity. Talking about impressing the fans, Hall told Chronicle Live: “Whenever I am playing I want them to feel confident in me. I want them to feel the excitement.
“I want to give something going forward and defensively as well which I have been working on and improving. It is a big thing for me to show the fans what I can do. Hopefully, as time goes on they will appreciate it more and more.”
Newcastle thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 last weekend and have had a breather this weekend ahead of the midweek trip to Crystal Palace. Hall has been enthused by the pick up in form.
Hall reflected: “We have gone on a good run in the last few games. Everton was disappointing not to come away with three points. But we have a couple of nice wins now and we are right in the mix for Europe. The aim is to finish as high as possible. If we can that will be an amazing achievement given the amount of injuries behind the scenes this year. It will be massive.”
The big win over Spurs sends Newcastle into that clash with Palace on the back of excellent performance. Howe’s team will be desperate to pick up where they left off.
Hall said: “It’s been really good, it was a repeat of last season a little bit against Spurs and the scoreline was very good.”
