Love Island announces two massive celebrities will enter the villa

Two big-name celebs are set to make a splash in the Love Island villa with a live performance, and one of them has a past connection to a former Love Island contestant. American pop sensation Jason Derulo and Bollywood starlet Nora Fatehi will be performing their new single Snake, with Jason also belting out a medley of his greatest hits for the Islanders.

Jason’s link to Love Island comes from his previous date with former Islander Eve Gale. Eve opened up about their rendezvous back in February last year. Speaking to The Sun, she revealed: “He wasn’t my ex-boyfriend, but I met him and we went on a date. Obviously he’s in America and I’m in the UK. I’d see him again but nothing too serious. I was in Miami when I met him and then he was in London filming. He’s doing some kind of show so when he’s in London I see him. He hired out a restaurant in Mayfair. We’ll just leave it as we went on a date!”

Jason is renowned for chart-topping hits like In My Head and Talk Dirty, while Nora is a Canadian dancer turned Bollywood actress who also sings. The pair will enter the villa following Tuesday night’s mass dumping that left the Islanders in tears.

The singletons found out that the public had been voting for their “favourite girl and boy”. While viewers knew that those with the fewest votes would be “at risk of being dumped,” the final say ended up in the hands of the two fan favourites, reports the Mirror.

Fans had a tough choice to make for their “favourite girl,” with the line up including Catherine Agbaje, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Elma Pazar, Gabby Allen, Grace Jackson, Harriett Blackmore, Kaz Crossley, and Tina Stinnes. The lads in the running for “favourite boy” were Casey O’Gorman, Curtis Pritchard, Luca Bish, Montel McKenzie, Nas Majeed, Ron Hall, Ronnie Vint, and Scott Thomas.

The remaining Islanders will be surprised by a musical performance

The fabulous host Maya Jama unveiled the results of the latest public vote. She announced that Luca and Elma emerged as the top picks, while Kaz, Montel, Nas, and Tina found themselves on thin ice, receiving the least votes from viewers and facing the possibility of an immediate exit from the reality TV show.

In a dramatic twist, Luca and Elma were tasked with deciding who to save from the chop. They chose to keep Tina, leading to an emotional goodbye as Kaz, Montel, and Nas packed their bags.

The villa had already said farewell to three islanders in earlier episodes, with India Reynolds being the first to go after bombshell Tina swooped in to pair up with Scott, leaving India single. More recently, Olivia Hawkins and Marcel Somerville, who were coupled-up, were sent packing following a public vote for the most compatible couple last week.
