Adam Thomas, the twin of former Love Island star Scott Thomas, has come to the defence of Elma Pazar following backlash amid his brother’s sudden exit.
It was an emotional episode on Sunday night (2 February) as Scott, 36, announced his decision to leave the All-Stars villa after expressing doubts about his relationship with Tina Stinnes, 29. He admitted: “I had a connection with [her] but it wasn’t fireworks.”
After the latest recoupling, he told Tina that he didn’t see their relationship progressing further. His exit came after co-star Elma, 32, confronted him over the situation and suggested that Scott leave the villa.

Some viewers criticised Scott for his handling of the situation with Tina, while others directed their ire at Elma. In response, Scott’s twin, Adam, 36, took to Instagram to urge viewers to “be kind” to Elma, reports the Mirror.
He wrote on Sunday night: “Before everyone starts coming for Elma just be kind people. I’ve been on the other end having to read comments about my brother and it’s safe to say it’s not nice! This is just a reality show. Tensions and emotions are running high. No one deserves to be judged over a 45 min episode!”
He added in the post: “It’s just entertainment to you guys but this isn’t a soap. It’s real people and they have feelings and so do their families.”
After the latest recoupling, Tina had a heart-to-heart with Scott about their fizzling romance. He confessed to her: “I don’t fully feel it. And it’s getting to the point now where I don’t feel like I can give you any more and I think that you like fully deserve that.” Tina was later seen hinting to friends, including Elma, that things were over between her and Scott.
Elma, puzzled by Scott’s lack of progress with both Tina and India Reynolds in the villa, was overheard exclaiming: “Leave then, mate! You’ve had two f***ing blinding birds and you’ve said there’s something missing from both of [those romances]. What do you want? So is someone gonna tell him cause I will.”

When Elma confronted Scott about his feelings for Tina, she bluntly told him: “If you’re not happy Scott, then go home babe.” To which he responded, “I will. Listen, I will go home”, even suggesting he might exit the next day – which he did.
Elma said that he “borderline led her on,” which he denied. Later, an emotional Elma admitted feeling “riddled in guilt” for having saved Tina previously, hoping to boost her chances with Scott instead of her friend Kaz Crossley during a dumping.
Some viewers have aired their thoughts on Elma’s approach to Scott, with one fan commenting: “I like Elma but she shouldn’t have said he needed to leave!” Another viewer criticised, “Awful behaviour from Elma,” while a third simply demanded: “Get Elma out.”
Despite the criticism, Elma found defenders among her audience, with one supporter pointing out amid the negative comments: “Elma’s delivery wasn’t the best but I got what she meant.” Meanwhile, another fan encouraged her: “Speak your truth Elma!” while a third chimed in with understanding: “I get Elma’s side.”
