In a new Instagram carousel, Moneybagg Yo shows that he’s tightened up his fitness regimen.
In a collaborative post with his fitness page, the South Memphis rapper posted clips and images of his muscular build, comparing it to an earlier photo of him. In one photo, Moneybagg takes a break following an intense workout, while another flick shows a protein-heavy plate of egg whites, avocado, and steak for him to bulk up. Another reel shows the “Tryna Make Sure” artist blends a shake made with bananas, chia seeds, plant protein, and almond milk.
“Them: This a transformation that gotta be studied,” Moneybagg captioned the post. “Me: Study Yo Bi**h.”
In 2023, Moneybagg told Men’s Health that his workout consistency comes from fitness envy, as he often scrolls Instagram and sees others in the gym.
“I get jealous because I’ll be on Instagram scrolling and see people working out,” he told the publication. “Their physique and body be coming right. I’ll be like, ‘I want to get like that.’ And it just motivates me to get in the gym and stay in the gym.”
The rapper, who owns a restaurant in Memphis, also explained that he mostly keeps his diet lean, eating chicken breast and protein shakes instead of junky Hostess cupcakes and chips that he’d eat while on tour. Moneybagg also shared that “soon as I eat something, I try to eat it and go straight to working out to burn it right off.”
