Morrisons makes major change to loyalty card for café and in-store shoppers

Morrisons is offering customers a huge boost as the cost of living crisis rolls on.

The supermarket is giving shoppers the opportunity to collect 100 More Card points when they dine at any of its 396 cafes or 19 brew bars nationwide.

It means that customers could rack up hundreds of points when dining in-store as the offer can be redeemed with any Daily Meal Deal or Kids Meal Deal. The Daily Meal Deal includes a sandwich, sub, toastie or panini with a cake or teacake and any regular hot or cold drink for £6.

The kid’s option comes in at £3.50, and includes a sandwich, snack and a drink. And if you opt for one of these meals, you could rack up 600 or 350 More Card points respectively.

The Star reports that there is no cap on how many points customers can earn, and the offer is available all day. With Morrisons More, customers can rack up points on a select catalogue of products when shopping online or in store. The loyalty scheme guarantees access to exclusive deals and tailored discounts which can be redeemed weekly.

Shoppers can also make five points on every litre of fuel purchased at a Morrisons pump. Increased purchases of the selected products also result in higher points, with 5,000 points the equivalent to a More Card Fiver with a value of £5.

Café buying manager for Morrisons Chris Strong, said: “We are pleased to be giving our customers even more reasons to be visiting our cafes. Whether it’s with our 100 More Card points with every £1 spent, helping customers towards their Morrisons Fiver or by expanding our sandwich menu and offering great, quality food at an affordable price.”
