Marks & Spencer shoppers have been rushing to buy a bestselling pair of sandals that have been branded “perfect for summer” – with a wide fit ideal for even those scorching days abroad.
The Wide Fit Leather T Bar Block Heel Sandals have been hailed as a must-have for both smart and casual occasions thanks to their timeless design and low heel. priced at £49.50, the sandals come in four shades – classic black or white, summery tan, or flashy gold – with several M&S shoppers saying they’ve snapped them up in multiple colours ahead of the warmer months and summer holiday season.
The sandals – which are available in sizes three to eight as well as half-sizes – have earned dozens of rave reviews, with an overall rating of 4.6 out of five stars; and not one out of nearly 100 M&S shoppers awarded them lower than a three-star rating. Fans praised the footwear as “so comfortable and lightweight”, as well as being “very stylish and fashionable” too.

One shopper said: “Thought I would have to break these in before my holiday, so wore them around the house and completely forgot I had them on! Just so comfortable and love the style.”
Another reviewer praised: “Smart, stylish and very comfortable. The ones I bought were the sparkly ones for dressing up but I will get a Black pair for everyday use.”
A third M&S customer agreed: “Smart looking sandals which will suit a variety of clothing. Really comfortable and look nice. Lovely heel on them.”
And someone else wrote: “Good size and fit. The leather is comfortable and soft enough not to cause any discomfort on bare feet. I like the fact they are not flat sandals but have a small heel, which makes them a little more dressy.”
While the majority of shoppers were fans of the sandals, a couple of shoppers said they wished they were available in a regular fit as well as a wide fit, finding that they were “too loose” on their feet.
