Over the last year, Ne-Yo has openly discussed his polyamorous lifestyle following his divorce from ex-wife, Crystal Renay.
Now, in a recent Instagram post, the crooner introduced us to his four girlfriends, Cristina, Arielle, Moneii, and Bri.
“Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly. LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID,” he wrote, adding, “Say something nice or move on with your life. We happy over here.”
The first video in the IG set shows all four of the women together, followed by portraits of the women alone, then with Ne-Yo, and finally, all five of them enjoying dinner.
Three of the girls, Arielle, Moneii, and Cristina also have their own IG account @the.mrs.lefts. It’s unknown why Bri doesn’t appear on the account.
Other people’s opinions don’t impact his romantic relationships. In February, Ne-Yo took to his IG Story, captioning a selfie, “Them: ‘NEYO WE DON’T APPROVE OF YOUR POLY RELATIONSHIP!!’” The picture captured part of the singer’s smile and his T-shirt that read, “Fun fact: I don’t care.”
It seems that being in a polyamorous relationship has also healed the R&B singer’s trauma surrounding dating. During a conversation with Big Boy earlier this month, Ne-Yo was asked if the women know each other.
“Absolutely, yeah. That’s the beauty of it,” he responded.
“I wasted so much time and money just lying for nothing,” the three-time Grammy winner added. “If I had known… Of course, you hear all the time, honesty is the best policy, you go, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right I’ma go ahead and tell this lie and keep this secret but I realize now that if I had just been honest from the jump, I could have saved myself a whole bunch of headache and heartache and everything else.”
Renay filed for divorce from Ne-Yo in 2022, which was finalized in 2023.
