New Look has launched a huge dress sale with up to 45% off for shoppers to stock up their summer wardrobe for less.
The high street fashion giant has slashed prices on more than 300 dresses both in stores and online, with seasonal styles now available from as little as £10. From mini to maxi, plain to printed and casual to formal options, there are plenty of bargains to be had whether you’re filling up your holiday suitcase or seeking an outfit for a summer wedding.
The number one bestselling dress in the sale is the Square Neck Broderie Puff Sleeve Midi Dress, which can now be snapped up for £25 instead of £33.99. Available in black, white or red, the stylish dress features a shirred bodice and delicate floral broderie detailing on its sleeves, making it ideal for any summer outing whether you’re dressing it up or down.

One shopper praised in a review: “Beautiful dress, very comfortable and flattering. Elasticated top which is very comfortable.” Others said it had a “nice cool material” perfect for sun-soaked holidays and looked “stunning” and “very stylish” too, saying it will “take you from daytime to evening”; although one person said they thought the red shade was “too orange”.
The next top bestseller in the dress sale is the Black Abstract Print V Neck Belted Midi Dress, which has dropped in price from £35.99 to £25. Although this dress is yet to receive any reviews, it has been flying off the shelves thanks to its statement monochrome print and flattering belted waist.
And rounding off the top three is the Off White Stripe Cotton Mini Smock Dress, also now £25 down from £35.99, a floaty summer suitcase staple that will make an ideal beach cover-up. Fans of this dress branded it “gorgeous” and “perfect”, saying they “love the style” and thought it was “really good quality”, although multiple shoppers recommended going a size down as their usual was “too big”.
Meanwhile, among the cheapest dresses up for grabs in the New Look sale are a range of bandeau and mini styles, including the Jersey Bandeau Midi Dress, which has been reduced from £15.99 to £10 and comes in blue, red, green or brown, as well as the Jersey Bandeau Mini Dress which is also now £10 and comes in black, grey or khaki. Other cheap styles include the White Stripe Ribbed Crew Neck Mini Dress and the Black Cotton Contrast Trim Racer Mini Dress, both of which have dropped to £10.
There are also savings to be had on a number of styles from the New Look Curves collection, with up to 27% off selected dresses. Favourites include the Geometric Print Midi Shirt Dress, now £25 down from £32.99, the Black Belted Tiered Maxi Dress, now £30 reduced from £35.99, and the Brown Leopard Print Frill Detail Midi Dress, also now £30 down from £39.99.
Elsewhere on the high street, Marks & Spencer shoppers have been snapping up a “flattering” and “comfortable” dress that has been branded a must-have for the warmer months. The Pure Cotton Printed Tie Detail Midi Shirt Dress is one of the top bestsellers on the fashion giant’s website, with more sizes having just come back into stock after it flew off the shelves in recent weeks as a popular spring wardrobe staple.
Priced at £39.50, the dress is designed in a casual button-down style and features a striking navy stripe pattern, with smart finishing touches that allow for it to be dressed up or down. The dress is finished off with a tie detail at the waist to create a flattering silhouette and has earned rave reviews from M&S shoppers so far, who praised it as “stylish” with an “excellent design” and said it can be worn “for any occasion” – read more about it here.
