Newcastle United are preparing for a busy month of comings and goings as the January window hots up.
Eddie Howe has admitted they will be ready to move should the right deal be in place – but outgoings are certainly needed. The likes of Miguel Almiron, Martin Dubravka, Kieran Trippier and Sean Longstaff have been linked with moves away, although Howe is wary of weakening his squad for the second half of the season.
Marc Guehi remains a player of interest after the failed attempt to sign him in the summer with Chelsea also keen, while youngsters such as youngsters James McAtee and Tyler Dibling have been linked. There’s also speculation over a free transfer, in the summer, for Jonathan David.
