Rolling Loud, the film, has expanded its cast.
The Owen Wilson and Matt Rife-starring comedy has added Ty Dolla Sign, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Henry Winkler as guest stars, Variety reports.
The film, which has started production in Atlanta, includes a scene shot at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami in December 2024. Rolling Loud—based on a true story from writer and director Jeremy Garelick—follows an overprotective father (Wilson), who tries to earn some cool points with his 13-year-old son (Christian Convery) by sneaking him into the festival. Chaos ensues, as the pair go on an adventure with the dad’s co-worker (Rife) and a festival volunteer (Christine Ko).
Big Sexyy is a perfect fit for the move, as it appears Wilson is already a fan. The St. Louis rapper gave the actor a shout-out when a clip of him at her Rolling Loud set in Miami last December made the rounds online. In the video, Wilson was seen in the crowd, transfixed during her performance of “Hellcats SRTs” from her 2023 Hood Hottest Princess project.
“Dats my baby Owen,” Red responded on X.
Sexyy Red and Ski Mask are slated to perform at Rolling Loud’s California festival on March 15 and 16, which features ASAP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Peso Pluma as headliners.
Rolling Loud is set to arrive in 2026.
