The sounds of 00s RnB anthems will be filling the air in Newcastle in April as two of the biggest acts from that era – Sean Paul and Ashanti bring their joint tour to Tyneside.
Both huge stars in their own right, the two music icons have just announced they will be hitting the road all over the UK and Ireland with their Bring It shows, which are sure to be a big draw given their popularity. Go back around 20 years and both Sean and Ashanti were flooding the UK charts with their singles as well as having people hitting the dancefloors of clubs across the country.
Sean is the man who first burst onto the scene with Gimme The Light, before giving the world huge smashes like Like Glue, Get Busy and massive number 1 Breathe, with Blu Cantrell. Ashanti is also no stranger to a global hit, with her singles including Foolish, Only U and collaborations like Always on Time, What’s Luv and and Mesmerise.
Sean has kept his chart success going over the last decade, thanks to number 1s like Rockabye with Clean Bandit and Si’a Cheap Thrills, as well as working with stars like Little Mix, Dua Lipa and David Guetta.

Sean and Ashanti will bring their Bring It tour to the Utilita Arena on April 12, 2005, with Sean saying; “I can’t wait to Bring It to the UK for something special with Ashanti. I love my British fans. This will be my biggest UK tour yet, and my first time in Ireland it’s gonna be fire, you know what to do, come through!”
Equally excited, Ashanti added: ” “I’m so excited to come back to perform again for my fans at my biggest ever tour in the UK and Ireland . No lie, y’all show me so much love!”
