Adventurer Ant Middleton will be sharing stories of his remarkable achievements on a new tour which will bring him to Newcastle in November.
The former chief instructor from Channel 4 hit show SAS: Who Dares Wins has just announced he will be back on the road across the UK this autumn – for the first time in three years – and this time fans will be able to hear about such nerve-racking experiences as his ascent of one of the most dangerous mountains in the world: K2. Tickets for the 18-date tour go on sale this Friday.
It follows on from his Zero Negativity Tour in 2021 and since then Middleton has had a whole lot more thrilling adventures. The TV favourite, who served in the elite forces and is now also an author and podcaster, said: “Having travelled extensively since my last UK tour – spending time in Australia working on some incredible shows and stage tours – it feels good to finally get my boots on the ground, take a beat, and spend some time on home soil.
“So much has happened in that time: my life and career has continued to grow, flourish and evolve. I have worked relentlessly on shows such as SAS: Australia to make it hugely popular and successful, with each series outperforming the last. And of course I had the honour to summit K2.”
He describes this climb, which he says saw him draw from his love for his family to “power me home” as “by far one of the biggest achievements of my life to date”. And he adds: “This tour is my opportunity to finally tell my story.”
The Newcastle stop-off will be on November 12 at the O2 City Hall where the audience will also get to watch previously unseen footage of Middleton’s experience during which he says he felt both fear and elation and “used everything I had”.
Tickets go on sale on April 25 at 10am from Ticketmaster – see here – and gigsandtours.com. VIP packages are also available. Here are the full tour dates.
