T-Pain has made it clear that he’s not one of those celebrities who will cough up money to fly on a private jet and will instead go commercial.
On Tuesday, Teddy Pendergrass shared a post on Instagram where he explained that he would never fly private due to how expensive it is to do that. T-Pain showed that it cost over $100,000 to fly privately from Las Vegas to Atlanta and that a trip on a commercial flight would only cost between $54 and $260.
“To take a private jet from Atlanta, to Vegas and then back to Atlanta is $126,000. And y’all are asking me… Do you understand what I’m saying?” he laughed. “Are you okay now? Do you feel like it? No private debt jet? What? You not taking a private jet? You’re not spending all this money to go make money. Why would you do that? In what world is that smart? Then y’all will be like he broke again.”
Some of T-Pain’s peers agreed with his sentiments, such as Timbaland, who wrote, “Don’t do it !!!!!!!” in the caption of the post, and Big Sean, who said, “Facts […] Bruhhhh.” Even Delta Airlines got in on the fun and wrote “Make it make sense” under the post.
T-Pain recently launched the Global Gaming League, a multi-title gaming entertainment league set to “revolutionize the industry,” according to a press release. In a statement, T-Pain explained how the new league will be a household name.
“The GGL will make gaming a household name,” said T-Pain. “It’s the fastest growing form of entertainment in the world, and we all game, yet, it’s completely disconnected from mainstream, pop-culture, and the streets. This is what The Global Gaming League is going to change.”
