The Crown star Vanessa Kirby is reportedly engaged to her beau Paul Rabil after two years of dating. The 36 year old actress, who played Princess Margaret in the hit Netflix series, has been linked to the retired lacrosse player since 2022.
Despite keeping their relationship largely under wraps, with only a few Instagram posts hinting at their romance, a source has allegedly told PageSix that the pair are set to tie the knot. Neither Vanessa nor Paul, who co-founded the Premier Lacrosse League, have confirmed the engagement news yet.

The couple first went public with their relationship in November last year when Paul shared a heartfelt post on Instagram with his followers. He revealed that he and Vanessa had originally met in the US but decided to keep the exact details hush-hush, and only shared that their paths crossed in Iowa.

Alongside a series of snaps of London-born actress Vanessa, he gushed about how life had become “more beautiful” with her in it. Paul wrote the adorable caption: “From the very minute we first met in Des Moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful and more beautiful with you.”
Rumours are swirling around the production of the upcoming Fantastic Four film, where Vanessa is set to take on the role of Sue Storm, also known as Invisible Woman. Back in February, Marvel Studios revealed that she would be leading the cast of Fantastic Four: First Steps, alongside Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, reports the Mirror.
Filming kicked off earlier this year, with an exciting release date set for next year. This is just another feather in Vanessa’s cap, following her portrayal of Alanna Mitsopolis, aka the White Widow, in the Mission: Impossible series.
She made her debut in Fallout (2018) and returned in Dead Reckoning (2023), and fans are eagerly awaiting her reprisal of the role in Final Reckoning, which is said to be due out next year.
Other recent roles from Vanessa include playing Empress Joséphine in Napoleon (2023) and Dora Strauch in Eden (2024). She’s also got Night Always Comes in the pipeline, which will be released on Netflix.
As for Paul, he was a professional lacrosse player before hanging up his boots in 2021, having played for teams like the Boston Cannons. He’s also the founder and president of the Premier Lacrosse League.
