The Weeknd Shares Tour Dates, Partners With Global Citizen to Donate $1 From Every Ticket Sold

The Weeknd just announced that he’s heading out on a stadium tour with Playboi Carti.

The Weeknd announced the After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour on the day that he released his new album Hurry Up Tomorrow. With the LP being the final chapter in his recent album trilogy following (2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM), the new tour, set to feature Mike Dean as a special guest, supports his last three projects.

The Live Nation-produced tour is set to have more than 25 stops and kick off on May 9 in Phoenix. Featuring “never-before-seen production” according to a press release, general onsale tickets will go on sale Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. local time (artist presale begins Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Feb. 6 at 9 a.m. local time).

$1 from every ticket sale will be donated to support children in vulnerable communities around the world through a partnership between The Weeknd and Global Citizen. Fans will also be able to earn a pair of free tickets to each tour date by “taking action to end extreme poverty with Global Citizen,” per a press release.

If you purchase a presale ticket with a Cash App Visa Card, Cash App will donate $1 to relief efforts for the wildfires in Los Angeles.

The Weeknd possibly gave the world a sneak peek at how cinematic his stadium shows will be during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! With a performance of “Open Hearts.” Standing in front of an extremely bright and flashing background while sparks showered down upon him, he performed the new song to a shocked audience.

The Weeknd’s new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow had its release date pushed back a week — not because of sample clearances, but “out of respect and concert for the people of Los Angeles County,” amid the wildfires.

Hurry Up Tomorrow features the previously released tracks, “Dancing in the Flames,” “Timeless,” with Playboi Carti, and “São Paulo” featuring Anitta.
