He’s a man with a growing number of hits under his belt and Tom Grennan will be back in Newcastle later this year and his new UK and Ireland tour.
Over the last few years, Tom has established himself as one of the country’s biggest music icons, thanks to hits like You Remind Me, Little Bit of Love and Let’s Go Home Together. Last year, after huge pressure from fans, Tom released his theme songs from the Gillette adverts, before coming close to getting the 2024 Christmas number 1 with ‘It Can’t Be Christmas, which ended up losing out to festive classics from Wham and Mariah Carey.
And now Tom’s thoughts are firmly on 2025 with the upcoming release of new album Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be and a 11 date UK and Ireland arena tour to support it. The new string of dates will bring Tom to the Utilita Arena in Newcastle on September 16, 2025.
*Tickets will go on sale on Friday, February 7 at 10am from sites like Ticketmaster and Seetickets. There will also be a pre-sale. Fans who pre-order the album before Tues 4th February at 3pm will gain access to a pre-sale on Wednesday 5th February at 10am.
Now he’s readying to take things to a whole new level still with a state-of-the-art pop album made with Justin Tranter. Keen to explore a new sound, Tom enlisted the songwriter and producer behind hits for Britney Spears, Linkin Park, Dua Lipa and Fall Out Boy and found in Tranter a collaborator who understood exactly what he wanted to say and what he wanted to sound like: George Michael, Prince, Freddie Mercury. “So much of the new music is uplifting — it makes you dance, makes you sing,” Tom says.
‘Shadowboxing’ is the second song to be unveiled from Tom’s forthcoming album following the release of slick, upbeat single ‘Higher’ in September, and was the first song he and Justin Tranter wrote together.

“It represents what the whole album is about,” Tom explains. “It’s about my fight with a side of me I have a lot of trouble with. It’s still a daily battle. But I’ve learned how to fight all these demons and I’m mentally and physically prepared now. I’m in athlete mode.”
Tom is always a big draw whenever he is on Tyneside, with him entertaining huge crowds at events like In the Park festival and Plate Day, as well as packing out the arena.
