
Newcastle United are busy preparing to face Brighton in the fifth round of the FA Cup this weekend.
The Magpies will host the Seagulls at St James’ Park in the last 16 as they look to reach the quarter-final of the competition. Newcastle claimed a 3-2 win over League One leaders Birmingham City in the previous round to set up a fifth-round tie against Brighton on Sunday afternoon.
Eddie Howe and Co. will be hoping to claim a victory over Brighton and continue their quest to win a cup double this term. As well as the FA Cup, Newcastle have a chance to win the Carabao Cup when they take on Liverpool in the final later this month.

When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw
The quarter-final draw for the FA Cup is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 2. Former Manchester United defender Dennis Irwin will be joined by ex-Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy to conduct the draw live at Old Trafford.
The draw will get underway after the conclusion of the fifth-round tie between Manchester United and Fulham.
FA Cup quarter-final fixture dates
Should Newcastle get past Brighton then they can expect to take on their quarter-final opponents across the weekend of March 29-30.
There is also the possibility that the fixture could be moved for live television coverage. If that happens, Newcastle could see the match played either on Friday, March 28 or Monday, March 31, depending on how the TV schedule is decided.
