22 Kids and Counting’s Sue Radford shares devastating news after Noel left worried

Channel 5 show 22 Kids and Counting’s Radford family were back on TV screens on Sunday 26 January with a new episode filled with drama. During the episode, Noel became concerned about his wife Sue’s unusual silence and secretive behaviour. He enlisted the help of her mother and their daughters to find out what was wrong. His worries intensified when he found a leaflet about early dementia in their family van.

When he confronted Sue at home, he asked: “What’s been going on?” Sue revealed that it was actually one of her close friends who had been diagnosed with early dementia at the age of 49. Sue explained that her friend had initially wanted to keep the diagnosis private, not even sharing it with her own family.

Apologising to Noel, Sue said: “I’m sorry, it’s been awful! But now she’s told her family, I can tell you, so… she’s got early onset dementia”, leaving Noel shocked and saying: “Oh my God! “, according to Lancs Live. In a segment speaking directly to the camera, Sue shared: “Gradually her memory will get worse, it’s a reality check, it could happen to anyone and you never know what’s around the corner”, admitting that the news had “knocked her for six”.

This emotional revelation comes after the family appeared in a spin-off show called 22 Kids and A Wedding, which featured Millie Radford’s wedding to her partner Harley Passmore.

Earlier this month, the This Morning set was bustling with excitement when the famous family paid a visit, reports the Mirror. As they returned from the adverts, host Cat Deeley couldn’t contain her delight, telling the audience: “I love this mayhem!”

Cat was referring to the crowd of 18 arranging themselves on the sofa, ready to discuss life in the spotlight of their hit Channel 5 show. However, amidst the cheerful chaos, baby Ronnie, Sue and Noel’s grandchild, found the camera lights overwhelming and burst into tears during the segment. Mum Katie did her best to calm her little one with cuddles but eventually, a swift ITV staff member stepped up to carry the unsettled tot off-set.

Ben Shephard reassured viewers with a smile: “We’re just passing Ronnie out so he can have a little bit of a walk around the studio. Vicks is taking control! You’re in charge now, Vicks.”
