There’s no love lost between 50 Cent and Chelsea Handler.
The comedian and actress recently appeared on podcast Call Her Daddy and spilled about her brief dating experience with Fifty. Although she tried to impress him with buying herself a pricy luxury vehicle during their fling in the early 2010s, the relationship would end shortly thereafter.
“He was beautiful, he was a sweetheart, he was so sweet,” Handler said about the rapper around the 48-minute mark below. The former Chelsea Lately host added that her friends “fucking loved him” and that when visiting Handler, he’d “have a Lamborghini one day and then a yellow Ferrari the next day.”
“Meanwhile, I realized he was borrowing all these cars from different dealerships. I was like, ‘You can do that?’ You know? I’m like, ‘Oh,'” she realized.
In trying to impress Fif, Handler made a massive car splurge, which would ultimately turn out useless. “I got a chocolate Bentley because he kept coming over every night and he had a different car, so as a joke, I went and bought a chocolate Bentley,” she revealed. “I didn’t know you could borrow cars as a celebrity.”
But upon their breakup, the Bentley was left in Handler’s possession for a couple of years more until she relinquished it.
“So I went and bought a chocolate Bentley and then we broke up,” she shared. “So there I am stuck with this chocolate Bentley like a fucking white dumb bitch asshole driving around like I’m some rapper. And I had that Bentley–which was a really nice car, by the way–I had that Bentley for like two years.”
The story caught Fifty’s attention, and on Friday (Feb. 8), he shared a screengrab of the story, via Entertainment Tonight, on Instagram.
“Gator 🐊 is crazy 😘 I love me some you girl ! LOL,” the rapper and media mogul wrote in the caption.
While Handler shared on CHD that she’s dating a new man, she’s frequently mentioned Fifty in interviews and comedy bits, famously joking about his “magic stick” in a 2023 special.
