Next year is shaping up to be a very big one for Sam Fender, as not only will he play two huge giga in Newcastle, but he will also perform the biggest show of his career to date in London.
After seeing every single date on his new People Watching UK and Ireland tour sell out in hours, after huge demand for both the pre sale and general sale, North Shields musician Sam teased fans that he might need ‘a bigger boat’ for next year, well that boat is apparently plural and taking the form of St James Park in Newcastle, where Sam will play on June 12 and June 14, 2025 and the London Stadium.
Having hinted that a big announcement was on the cards for both Newcastle and London, he revealed all on social media on Friday morning, much to the delight of his fans. As well as being at SJP, Sam and his band will play the London Stadium on June 6.
General sale tickets for all three dates will begin on Friday, November 29, from the likes of Ticketmaster and Seetickets, with fans also given the chance of getting them via a pre-sale on November 26, by pre-ordering the new People Watching album from Sam’s website. Support in London will come from Cmat and The War on Drugs, who will also play June 14 in Newcastle.
Posting about the stadium gigs on Instagram, Sam wrote: “Stadium Tour!!! What the hell. LONDON STADIUM – our biggest headline show to date and a return to ST JAMES’ PARK… JUNE 2025!! Very lucky to have @thewarondrugs and @cmatbaby joining us.”
