Strictly Come Dancing‘s Vito Coppola has been showered with love and encouragement from his fellow Strictly stars and legions of fans as he announced the launch of a personal project. The 32 year old professional dancer took to social media to express his excitement, saying he could ‘finally share’ the news he’s been teasing since earlier in the month.
In the midst of rehearsals with his celeb dance partner Sarah Hadland, the reigning Strictly champ dropped a sizzling video showcasing him striking a pose in dapper black attire. Vito playfully captioned his teaser: “Good day beautiful people. Little news on the way coming soon… Cannot wait to share it with you. In the meantime I wish you an happy day and I send you all my positive energy #alwayswithlove. V.” But the suspense didn’t last too long.
On Monday evening, 25 November, Vito spilled the beans over on Instagram with another video, this time featuring the photos that will grace his very first calendar, reports the Manchester Evening News.
He joyfully wrote alongside the big reveal: “Hello beautiful people. Finally I can share with you my little new project. My online platform of merchandise… This is just a little thing but I am excited and happy to share it with you all.If you click on the link you will find: APRON – Love is the best ingredient, T-shirt – Do you need a Vito hug? , Calendar 2025, Mug/Cup – Vito + Loveisthebestingredient. The platform has just been launched now online. Hope you will like and enjoy it. #alwayswithlove V.”
Sarah Hadland swiftly commented on the post with excitement, “Do I get the first one ? ? ?” And fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones cheekily asked, “Can I get one? Well it’s for a friend,” while colleague Nikita Kuzmin couldn’t resist joining in, joking, “Nowwwwww! send me this calendar hahah.”
Ellie Leach, Vito’s former dance partner and friend, expressed her enthusiasm too, saying, “Yesssssss,” accompanied by a series of fire emojis. It Takes Two host Fleur East chimed in with a playful request, “Ha ha! ! ! ! Can we get an apron for Nova in baby size please partner?”.
Fans also went wild over the Celebrity MasterChef champ’s new project. One person said: “OMG and I thought Gary Barlow announcing his solo tour as being the highlight of my day! ! What a happy Monday.”
Another confessed: “Oh my god! I think all my Christmases have come at once!” while a third added: “Bravo, you know your audience! ” @sarah.
A fourth commented: “Oh my word. Calendar’s gone straight to the top of my Christmas list! Actually just give it all to me now.”
Yet some fans also expressed their ‘regrets’ – that they might be getting the ‘wrong’ calendars for Christmas. One person said: “And now I’m regretting asking for a calendar of dogs,” while another commented: “I usually get the country file calendar…might ask for a different one this year.” A third hilariously stated: “Certainly beats the Boris Johnson calendar I got for my hubby last year (it was a joke gift!)”
