Amazon has officially launched its Black Friday Week sale, with thousands of deals already landing to give shoppers the chance to beat the rush ahead of the big day on November 29.
Tech gadgets are always a popular choice in any seasonal sale, with retailers across the high street and online often dropping prices on everything from smart home appliances to TVs – and Amazon is no exception. The online retail giant is virtually guaranteed to offer hefty discounts on its own devices each time a sale rolls around, whether it’s Prime Day or Black Friday, and there are already reductions worth snapping up on the likes of Echo Dots, Fire TV Sticks and more this weekend.
Whether you’re on the lookout for some payday bargains for yourself or Christmas gifts for loved ones, you can currently save up to 58% on several of Amazon’s bestselling tech must-haves. We have rounded up some of the Black Friday Week highlights below – and compared their prices to previous sales so you know whether you’re getting a good deal.

Lowest price ever on Amazon Fire Tablet
Amazon is offering the Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet for half price, bringing it down from £149.99 to £74.99 – its lowest price ever, according to the retailer and confirmed by price tracker CamelCamelCamel. Available in black, blue or lilac, this tablet boasts 32GB of storage, 13-hour battery life and a “brilliant” Full HD display.
In addition, shoppers can also save 45% on the children’s equivalent, the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet – also down to its lowest ever price of £109.99 in the Black Friday sale. Or for grown-ups seeking a cheaper option, the smaller Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet is half price too, meaning you can get it for £49.99 instead of £99.99.
More tablet deals are dropping on the high street as Black Friday approaches, with John Lewis offering £30 off selected Apple and Samsung devices in its sale. The bestselling choice is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Tablet, now £159, followed by the Apple iPad 10.9″, now £299.
£220 off Amazon Fire TV
Fire TVs are always a popular feature of any Amazon sale, and shoppers can currently save 44% on the Amazon Fire TV 50-inch 4-Series 4K, now £279.99 reduced from £499.99 – its lowest price ever, according to price tracking on CamelCamelCamel. Amazon promises that this TV will “bring films and series to life” with “scenes that leap off the screen with its vibrant display.
Or if you want to take your TV watching to the next level, the Amazon Fire TV 50-inch Omni QLED also has 42% off, bringing its price down from £649.99 to £379.99 – this is its lowest price, although it was previously listed for the same price during Prime Day in October.
A Fire TV is essentially Amazon’s answer to a Smart TV, which means you have access to both live channels and streaming services like BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Prime Video, Now, Disney+ and loads more on your TV.
Fire TVs have their own user-friendly interface, where all these favourites can be found in one handy place to make for easy scrolling. There’s also a Voice Remote included with these TVs equipped with Alexa, which enables you to find, launch and control your shows using just your voice.
There are Black Friday TV deals to be snapped up over on the high street too, with Currys dropping prices on more than 400 models. The bestselling choice on the Currys website is the Samsung 65″ Smart 4K Ultra HD TV and Wireless Sound Bar Bundle, reduced to its cheapest ever price of £1,449, followed by the LG C4 55-inch OLED 4K HDR Smart TV, which has £700 off and is now £1,199.

Echo Dot for less than half price
The Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker has been reduced to less than half price for Black Friday Week, meaning you can get it for £22.99 instead of £54.99, while the smaller Echo Pop also has 58% off at £18.99 reduced from £44.99. However, it’s worth noting that both devices have previously been available for £1 cheaper than these prices during the 2023 Prime Day and Black Friday sales.
These bestselling speakers are voice controlled, and allow you to stream songs straight from the likes of Amazon Music, Apple Music or Spotify, as well as listen to radio stations, podcasts and audiobooks. The gadgets are also equipped with virtual assistant Alexa, who you can ask to play music, answer questions, set alarms, check the weather, and loads more.
This most recent version of the Echo Dot promises “big vibrant sound” for your music, podcasts and audiobooks, with the ability to link up to compatible smart home devices and also featuring Alexa voice controls. And the Echo Dot Kids smart speaker, which is designed with parental controls and includes a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+, is also now less than half price at £27.99 down from £64.99.
£35 off Kindle Paperwhite
One of the most popular deals being snapped up by Amazon shoppers right now is on the Kindle Paperwhite, which has £35 off with a Black Friday price of £134.99. Described as the “fastest Kindle ever”, this new model of the bestselling reading device promises that you can “escape into your books” with a glare-free screen that’s free of notifications and runs for up to 12 weeks on a single charge.
Elsewhere in the sale, you can score 35% off the Kindle Scribe, which is now £264.99 reduced from £409.99 – its lowest ever price by a considerable margin, according to CamelCamelCamel. This is the only Kindle model that includes a digital notebook and pen for note-taking, journalling, sketching and more.

Ring Video Doorbell bundle for half price
The bestselling Ring Video Doorbell is another home gadget that you will nearly always see in an Amazon sale, and right now shoppers can get 41% off the security essential, making it £59 on its own – or you can opt to buy it as part of a bundle with a Ring Indoor Camera for half price at £89.99, saving £14 compared to purchasing the pair separately.
The doorbell is powered by a rechargeable battery and WiFi, and it allows you to see, hear and speak to visitors in real time via an app on your phone, as well as receive notifications when someone is at your door. Deals on Ring’s home security devices can also be found on the Ring website, where shoppers can see all the Black Friday offers in one place with up to 50% off.
42% off Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
And finally, Amazon has dropped prices on all of its Fire TV Sticks for Black Friday, with the biggest savings to be had on the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, now with 42% off at £34.99 reduced from £59.99. Amazon promises a “cinematic experience” with this stick, which enables you to watch your streaming favourites in 4K Ultra HD.
Meanwhile, the newest version of the Fire TV Stick HD is now £27.99 with 30% off, and the Fire TV Stick Lite has dropped to £21.99 with 37% off – although it has previously been priced as low as £17.99.
These sticks can simply be plugged into your TV to effectively turn it into a Smart TV, giving you access to all your favourite streaming services – offering a Fire TV experience for the fraction of the price. It’s worth noting that the only difference between the Fire Stick Lite and the classic Fire Stick is that it doesn’t have as many remote buttons, lacking volume, mute and power options, but other than that it has all the same capabilities.
