Away from the scandal and desire of Bridgerton, co-stars Bessie Carter and Sam Phillips have sparked up a romance and have reportedly moved in together. Bessie, 30, who plays Prudence Featherington, and newcomer Sam, 39, who portrays Lord Debling, are said to have started dating after meeting on the set for series three of the hit Netflix show.
Filming for the highly-anticipated third series began in July 2022 and ended less than a year later in March 2023. Despite their characters not interacting on screen, their romance blossomed and Bessie is said to have moved into Sam’s flat in Brighton just three months after filming wrapped.

OK! has contacted Bessie and Sam’s representatives for comment.
The co-stars have been spotted together at several events with Bessie’s family. This includes her famous mum Imelda Staunton, who played the role of Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter films and her actor dad, Jim Carter, who is best known for his role as Mr Charles Carson in Downton Abbey.
The Bridgerton stars were first photographed together in May 2023 when they attended the Theatrical Consequences: The 5th Annual Platform Presents West End Gala after party at Tequila Mockingbird in London. They were spotted looking cosy together and a few months later in November 2023 attended the Wonka premiere with Bessie’s mum.

The three of them reportedly posed together, with Imelda in the middle, suggesting they were more than comfortable in each other’s company. Bessie’s dad played the role of Abacus Crunch in the film which depicted Willy Wonka’s early days before he became a successful chocolatier.
The following month, Bessie and her dad, Jim attended The Crown season six finale event to support Sam, who played the Queen’s Equerry Stephen Chambers in seasons three and four. As well as being seen at several events together, the pair have also hinted at their relationship on social media, having shared the same holiday snaps and the odd glimpse of each other.

After the sightings, romance rumours started to swirl on TikTok with many backing the couple all the way. One wrote underneath a video titled, ‘Bridgerton co-stars that are dating in real life’, “They’re so cute!!”.
A second said: “I love this so much!”, while a third penned: “Okayyyy featherington sisters bagging the hot ones!”
