Bridgerton’s very own Florence Hunt, who plays the charming Hyacinth Bridgerton, has just shared a regal secret about her attire in the much-anticipated third season of the Netflix sensation. The young actress revealed to People magazine that she wore a dress with a direct connection to none other than Princess Diana herself, with the garment fashioned from a remnant of a gown previously adorned by the late princess.
The 17 year old British actress couldn’t contain her excitement about the costume department’s magic touch, exclaiming: “I wore this beautiful blue dress, and I believe it was a cut off from Princess Diana’s dress that she wore at some point. A cut off from one of her dresses that they made for Princess Diana and they made a dress out of that fabric, which was mental.”
Florence was over the moon about her favourite costume piece and even got to keep a piece of the fabric after the shoot wrapped up. She raved: “I just thought it was amazing. I felt like I was wearing a piece of history. It was crazy, yeah.”

Meanwhile, Luke Newton, who stars as Colin Bridgerton, has admitted he’s not entirely prepared for his character’s more exposed moments on the series, reports the Mirror. Speaking about the anticipation from fans for Colin and Penelope’s love story in the new season of Bridgerton, Luke Newton spilled to People magazine: “I think there’s always been that underlying sort of question mark with these two characters. And people have obviously wanted them to get to the point that we’re getting to now, so I guess it was always in the back of our minds.”
Shedding light on their steamy scenes, he also shared, “You kind of play that in previous seasons and in previous scenes, but you can’t really prepare for stripping down naked in front of your friends.”
Both Luke and his co-star Nicola Coughlan have previously made headlines for their sizzling on-screen connection.

Nicola confessed that they were so immersed in a fiery scene that they accidentally broke some set furniture. She found the whole experience “really funny”, revealing in a chat with SiriusX Hits 1, “We would be like, in between scenes, and they were like, ‘Do you wanna get up and put your clothes on? ‘”.
With a laugh, she recounted her time on set, saying, “We’re like, ‘We’ll just chill here’, like under the blankets. But then we have the advantage of knowing each other for years.”
At 37, the experienced actress opened up to People magazine about how intimate scenes were well executed, stating, “The intimacy stuff feels very real. IT feels very grounded in two people that are not trying to sort of, that they’re awkward in front of one another, this and that.”
“And all of a sudden they become like Lotharios in the bedroom and whatever, they get to be intimate together in a very real and beautiful way, and I think that’s what makes it so affecting.”
