Excitement is now at fever pitch for Bruce Springsteen’s arrival in Sunderland, with the music legend’s gig with the E Street Band now just days away.
Some 12 years after he last visited the Stadium of Light with his Wrecking Ball Tour in 2012, music legend Bruce will be back on the pitch at SAFC’s ground on Wednesday, May 22, in front of a crowed that’s expected to be in excess of 45,000. The first gig held at the SoL since Pink’s Summer Carnival tour last year, Bruce’s show is sure to once again cement his status as one of the all time greats, as fans lap up his many classic tracks.
The UK leg of his latest tour kicked off in Wales on May 5, meaning fans with tickets for Sunderland have been able to get a fair idea of what songs should be on the setlist for Wednesday evening. With so many great songs at his disposal, Bruce has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to picking songs for his tours, but there are plenty of songs which just have to be on there.
