Doechii Stars in MLS ‘Game On’ Campaign Video Ahead of 2025 Season Kickoff

Doechii’s breakout year continues Thursday with her starring turn in a new spot in commemoration of Major League Soccer’s 2025 season kickoff.

In the “Game On” campaign video, seen below, the acclaimed “Denial Is a River” artist highlights what fans can look forward to starting Feb. 22, with this season marking the latest entry in an ongoing partnership between Apple and MLS.

“MLS is game on,” she says in the clip. “Doechii? On! Stars? On! 30,000 friends? On! Rivalries? On! MLS. This is our soccer. Game on.”

The Doechii-starring spot comes ahead of the Top Dawg signee’s performance at this weekend’s Grammys ceremony in Los Angeles. In addition to performing, Doechii is up for multiple potential wins, including Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance. The latter is for “Nissan Altima,” a standout track off her 2024 tape Alligator Bites Never Heal, one of Complex’s picks for the best releases of the year.
