Drake Changes “Nonstop” Lyric During Perth Performance: ‘From 6 to 23 But Not LeBron, Man’

Drake made a key lyrical change during his performance of Scorpion cut ‘Nonstop” in Perth this week.

In the studio version of the track’s first verse, Drake, who’s currently on his Anita Max Win Tour, tucks in a numerical LeBron James mention:

“How I go from 6 to 23 like I’m LeBron?”

During his Perth performance, however, Drake offered a slight but swiftly headlined tweak, like so:

“How I go from 6 to 23 but not LeBron, man”

The timely tweak shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans, as Drizzy’s “Fighting Irish” freestyle, even down to its title, was widely speculated to see him reflecting critically on his and LeBron’s friendship. Speculation later grew to include the rumored possibility that LeBron had made efforts to reach out to Drake prior to the freestyle’s release, albeit (allegedly) to no avail.

At a recent 40th birthday celebration, the Lakers legend was filmed rapping along to Kendrick Lamar’s “Man at the Garden.” This, of course, came after Kendrick and Drake’s music industry-dominating beef that resulted in a slew of exchanged diss tracks in 2024. In June, LeBron was among the stars in attendance at Kendrick’s The Pop Out event in Inglewood. Notably, the event saw Kendrick performing the Drake-dissing “Not Like Us” multiple times. This past weekend, the track took home five Grammys, including Best Rap Song.

Drake’s Anita Max Win Tour continues this month and into next with additional stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. For now, LeBron hasn’t publicly commented on the “Nonstop” amendment in Perth.
