Drake felt generous during one of his Anita Max Wynn Tour stops.
A viral clip shows the rapper giving away $20,000 each to two couples in the audience at his concert in Perth, Australia.
“You guys are from Perth—I don’t know where you’ve been in your life,” he said. “But for both of y’all, I’m gonna give you $20,000 each to go wherever you want in the world because that’s what we do out here in Perth. You gotta show love.”
An extended video of the moment showed Drizzy also saying, “It’s nights like these that we can never take for granted. It’s 14,000 people inside one building, and we all got here safe.”
According to Australian outlet, The Music, the 6 God’s giveaway happened Wednesday during his second Perth show. In addition to two nights in Perth, he’s performing four nights in Melbourne, five nights in Sydney, and three nights in Brisbane before heading to Auckland, New Zealand.
This is Drake’s first time in the region since his 2017 Boy Meets World Tour. His current trek is named after his alter ego, Anita Max Wynn, whom he introduced in a Kick stream in December 2023.
Inspired by Drake’s love for gambling, the name is a pun on the phrase, “I need a max win.”
The 38-year-old’s latest act of philanthropy mirrors his recent “Drizzmas Giveaway,” which he hosted on Kick alongside Adin Ross. The Christmas stream saw the For All the Dogs rapper hand out hundreds of thousands in cash and prizes, including a dream vacation for a couple, a trip for two to see him perform in Australia, $250,000 each for two individuals, a luxury car, and more.
