Dunelm shoppers have been snapping up a clever piece of furniture perfect as a practical and stylish addition to bedrooms and living rooms.
The homeware retailer has shown off its Edited Life Lozenge Ottoman on social media this week, which is the perfect solution for households short on space with its three-in-one design. Priced at £45, the ottoman doubles up as both storage and a seat, with a lid that can also be flipped over to be used as a handy table.
Describing it as the “ottoman of dreams”, Dunelm has shared snaps of the ottoman over on Instagram, as well as on TikTok with a clip showing it in the home of presenter Saskia Marriott. The TikTok star used hers at the end of her bed to store scatter cushions and blankets, before carrying it to the living room to place her drink on it while curled up with a book.
While the ottoman has had just one review so far, the shopper awarded it five stars, writing: “Lovely ottoman. Sturdy and good quality, and the colour is much better in real life.”
For even smaller spaces, an Edited Life Round Ottoman is also available for just £25 with the same three-in-one features, but has received a more mixed reception. One person praised: “I’m so glad I have it – it’s perfect for my flat. It’s easy to put together and fold away, well worth the money.”
However, another reviewer disagreed, writing: “Item looks really nice, but it’s very cheaply made and doesn’t hold its shape. Coffee table part keeps falling in when being used to put drinks on.”
Elsewhere on the high street, new in at Argos is the Habitat Ingo Coffee Table, which has a similar design with a wooden table top and storage space below, although this has a much more expensive price tag of £130. Meanwhile, a favourite on Amazon is the WOLTU Round Storage Stool, currently reduced to £33.79, which comes in grey or white and also features a flip top that can be used as a seat or table.
